{"id":184,"date":"2013-11-03T16:30:00","date_gmt":"2013-11-03T16:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jeannehoadley.com\/Photo13\/?p=184"},"modified":"2013-11-03T16:34:30","modified_gmt":"2013-11-03T16:34:30","slug":"buttons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jeannehoadley.com\/Photo13\/?p=184","title":{"rendered":"Buttons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" alt=\"buttons3_simplified\" src=\"http:\/\/jeannehoadley.com\/Photo13\/wp-content\/gallery\/gallery\/buttons3_simplified.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Taking a page from Mike Moats&#8217; book this week I went out and bought a package of buttons for the express purpose of photographing them.\u00a0 Finding the right combination of colors and arrangement is not as easy as it might seem.\u00a0 I also found I am not too happy with the look of the back side of the buttons I bought so more care in turning them all front side up may be required.\u00a0 In post processing I spent a lot of time filling in highlights from the reflective surfaces.\u00a0 I also cropped this one a little to simplify the composition.\u00a0 Then I took it into Color Efex Pro for a detail extraction and on to Topaz Simplify for a painterly look.
