{"id":396,"date":"2014-07-02T15:08:30","date_gmt":"2014-07-02T15:08:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jeannehoadley.com\/Photo13\/?p=396"},"modified":"2014-07-02T15:12:31","modified_gmt":"2014-07-02T15:12:31","slug":"day-4-hotel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jeannehoadley.com\/Photo13\/?p=396","title":{"rendered":"Day 4 &#8211; Hotel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" src=\"http:\/\/jeannehoadley.com\/Photo13\/wp-content\/gallery\/home-again\/Hotel.jpg\" alt=\"Hotel\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I thought it was time to get out of the garden and since I was downtown to sign some real estate papers yesterday I started experimenting with an idea I have had in mind to shoot architectural detail in downtown Ashland.<\/p>\n<p>This is the Hotel formerly known as the Mark Anthony.\u00a0 It&#8217;s current name is either Lithia Springs or Ashland Springs but since there is one of each in town I cannot yet keep them straight.\u00a0 In any case, I shot this from the top of a parking garage where I was parked and I didn&#8217;t like the perspective too much so I went into the Lens Correction filter in Photoshop to adjust the perspective and then I saw an angle tool and thought &#8220;Oh, that might be fun.&#8221; And it was.\u00a0 I think that putting it on an angle gives it more visual interest and all the architectural detail is still there.\u00a0 I also did a little levels adjustment and added a smart sharpen filter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I thought it was time to get out of the garden and since I was downtown to sign some real estate papers yesterday I started experimenting with an idea I have had in mind to shoot architectural detail in downtown Ashland.
