This week I got back on the road with my In Search of New Mexico project with a trip to Guadalupe County. I had a great time photographing the old cars at the Route 66 Car Museum, the old buildings in Santa Rosa, and the abandoned buildings along old Route 66 east of town. In post processing I relied heavily on Nik software to extract the details of the adobe wall and cracks. I also applied a Polaroid transfer filter to give it a slightly blurred look and a ragged edge.
