Here’s another entry in the downtown Ashland architectural detail project. One of the beauties of this project is that there are buildings from all eras downtown. Though much of downtown was built in the 19th century, this building has the art deco look of the 1930s.
In post processing I had to do some perspective adjustments and cropped to eliminate distracting edges. In Nik CEP I used detail extractor and a vintage film effects filter. There are alot of ways I could go with this and I am thinking of going back and doing a black and white treatment with a pop of green.
