I wasn’t too motivated to photograph yesterday and then it rained. So I had to go back to the previous day and do some processing. I wanted at least one picture from the grower’s market that wasn’t just a close up of fruits and vegetables but I was feeling sensitive about making people less recognizable so I went with a painterly treatment in Topaz Simplify. I love this image because it captures the spirit of the Ashland Grower’s Market. Friends meeting friends, chatting with vendors, searching for treasures, as well as the colorful tents and the beautiful setting of the trees and the hills. Before taking it into Simplify I did the usual tricks in Color Efex Pro.
