Getting out to shoot has been difficult due to a death in the family but I don’t want to abandon the project so I just keep going back through images I have shot so far to find the keepers. The marigolds in my brother’s garden are just beautiful this year and I keep going back to them so you may see more of them before it is all over. This is one of those rare images (for me) that needed very little post processing. I used the spot healing brush on a couple of spots and added a smart sharpen filter in Photoshop. That’s all. Though looking at it now I might go back a crop a little off the lower left corner before printing.
