As I have been walking my Mother’s dog each morning I have been fascinated by the bark on the Madrone trees along one stretch of the walk. So, I decided to bring the little camera along yesterday. What I learned was that dog walks and camera walks don’t mix. He expects me to stop and wait while he sniffs every scent on a weed but for me to stop long enough to take a picture was just too much. So, I will definitely have to go back with the big girl camera and tripod because I think there is alot there to explore. I did like the way the sahadows came out on this image. I added detail and saturation in CEF as usual. The sun was already highlighting one side of the tree but I used the darken/lighten center filter to help it along.
