Lithia Park in my hometown of Ashland, Oregon was recently voted among the top 25 city parks in the country. I don’t know who gets to decide these things but it is a nice park. I hesitated to post this image because it is somewhat cliche where Ashland is concerned. Stand on one of the bridges in Lithia Park and shoot Ahland Creek. But then it occured to me that not everyone gets to see this kind of beauty every day. I know, I lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico for eight years, where water and green vegetation are both hard to come by. I’m not sure if that line of rocks is natural, I’m guessing not but it still does a good job of leading the eye into the picture.
