Here’s another one from the garden. Trying to buy a house so I haven’t ventured too far afield yet but soon. Just added a little saturation and detail on this one and cleaned up a few blemishes.
Day 2 – June 29 – Fresh Picked Raspberries
One of the benefits of living in Oregon is I have complete access to my parents garden, currently being managed and cared for by my brother and sister-in-law. Yesterday I went out and picked the raspberries for them and I couldn’t resist taking a picture. I expect the garden will figure prominently in this project… Continue reading Day 2 – June 29 – Fresh Picked Raspberries
Day 1 – June 28 – Home Turf
To celebrate my return to Oregon I have decided to start a new 100 days project which I am calling “Home Again”. I did not select this image to kick off the project because I think it is a great photo, I don’t. It is just a grab shot of Mount Ashland from the Greensprings… Continue reading Day 1 – June 28 – Home Turf
The Moving Blues
Sorry to say there will be no image of the week this week. I am up to my eyeballs in moving and have no time for fun things like photography. But come back next Sunday, June 29 because on that day I will be starting a new 100 days project to celebrate my return to… Continue reading The Moving Blues
Rose center
I’m deep in the moving process now so this is another image from last week’s trip to the rose garden. I’m planning to make up for it with a new 100 days project when I get back to Oregon. I have been debating whether to start a separate blog for that or just post the… Continue reading Rose center
Pi nk Rose
Amidst the chaos of moving I gave myself a morning off to visit the rose gardens this week. Some of the roses were near peak, some past and some still waiting to bloom. I found myself wishing I had gone the day after the generous rains we received a week or so ago. This image… Continue reading Pi nk Rose
New Oak Leaves
On my trip to Arizona a couple of weeks ago I had it in mind to do a lot of macro photography in Oak Creek Canyon. Between road construction and wind it didn’t really happen as I had planned. But I did get a few shots off between wind gusts and this one captured my… Continue reading New Oak Leaves
Iris
I haven’t shared a flower in awhile and it IS that time of year. I was on Mr. Toad’s wild ride this week with pre-moving chores. But when my artists group headed out to El Rancho de las Golondorinos I had to carve out a few hours to join them. I was expecting to be… Continue reading Iris
Grand Canyon
I know, I know, if there is one thing the world doesn’t need it is another picture of the Grand Canyon. This one has no sunrise or sunset, no rain shower or rainbow, no dramatic light so it isn’t going to win any prizes. I know all that. I think at this point you would… Continue reading Grand Canyon
Cocktails
It was another windy week in Santa Fe and though I tried to photograph some flowers in my yard I didn’t start early enough so had only moderate success in avoiding movement. In anticipation of a trip to Northern Arizona next week I started reviewing some pictures from a previous trip. I had also just… Continue reading Cocktails
